Join us as we work to end Veteran homelessness in Grant & Adams counties through the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program. A SSVF Case Manager provides support to homeless and at-risk Veterans through outreach, housing assistance, case management, homeless prevention, diversion, and connections to other benefits.
The program utilizes a Housing First approach to provide low-barrier services designed to rapidly house clients. Emphasis is placed on regular home visits and utilizing programs and benefits designed to increase income, self-sufficiency, and quality of life. SSVF is a collaborative project and requires a high level of cooperation and teamwork among program staff and community partners in our effort to end Veteran homelessness.
Case Managers start at $18.00/hour and are full-time/nonexempt and receive full benefits including medical/dental/life/vision insurance and vacation/holiday/sick pay.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelorâs degree in social, behavioral or human services, coupled with at least one year of professionally supervised work in the delivery of mental health, chemical dependency or social services. Valid driverâs license with fewer than three violations in three years required.
