Job Description This role will be based remotely from home from any location globally with no expectation to travel into the office.The Global Business Product Owner, Digital Commerce (eCommerce), will be accountable for all aspects of Our Company’s eCommerce platform initiative including business needs assessments, use case development, user experience design, product roadmap development, platform delivery management and ultimately system adoption, growth, and commercial success realization across B2B and B2C segments in all markets worldwide. The Global Business Product Owner, Digital Commerce (eCommerce) will set and achieve aggressive business value realization targets for eCommerce capabilities working in a highly consultative capacity with General Managers, Marketing and Sales leaders around the global. The successful candidate will collaborate with local business leadership to provide in-market eCommerce readiness assessments, ensure upskilling of critical in-country roles, develop deployment plans and playbooks, and create and manage business success measures post-delivery.The Global Product Owner, Digital Commerce (eCommerce) will staff and manage a team of best-in-class talent with deep expertise in online sales and marketing systems, processes and techniques, customer engagement, user experience, communications and change management. The selected candidate will be a critical contributor to Our Company’s larger Digital Transformation initiative and, as such, will provide quarterly progress reports to Our Company’s Senior Executive Operating Committee. We are seeking, for this role, a highly experienced and innovative strategic and operational leader with a deep understanding of online marketing and sales, B2B, B2C and Marketplace business and technology models and robust soft skills in the areas of communication, collaboration and change management. It is critical that we have a player-coach in the leadership role – someone who can both lead and do, someone with product development and agile experience – an ambitious visionary willing to do whatever necessary to achieve success.Responsibilities: Create a clear vision for global eCommerce product and service offerings

Develop a prioritized strategic global eCommerce product and service capabilities roadmap

Establish methodologies, tools, and procedures for conducting research, design conceptualization, prototyping and product development.

Define and develop the eCommerce customer experience in conjunction with IT

Define product and market launch timelines and release goals aligned with key business partner objectives

Collaborate closely with business leadership to incorporate eCommerce as part of larger multichannel customer engagement strategies

Gain the sponsorship of the regional and market senior leadership on implementation, change management strategies and new ways of working.

Identify and support markets in developing key skills for maximizing eCommerce

Develop financial and transactional success metrics for global performance

Clearly communicate eCommerce plans, status, and challenges with senior management

Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration while creating an environment of continuous improvement

Create diverse and inclusive work environments through all aspects of talent management: recruitment, development, performance management, and succession planning.

Required:

5 years of leading successful eCommerce/Digital Commerce strategies, ideally within a Digital Transformation environment (B2B/B2C/D2C)

Seasoned Product Owner with extensive experience leading and operating in an agile, product development environment

Strong foundation in core product management skills including understanding user needs, defining product requirements, defining user stories, conducting end-user tests, designing mock-ups / wireframes, building business cases

Prior experience with Agile Scrum delivery teams and methodologies

Demonstrated success in developing and executing digital channel vision and strategy

Track record of successful execution of digital transformation initiatives leveraging transactional web and mobile applications. Specific experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) a plus.

Outstanding analytical skills and the ability to assess disparate data streams and distill them into meaningful, actionable strategic insights and recommendations

Successful design and deployment of change management tools and techniques resulting in widespread adoption of delivered systems.

Strong program management skills. Demonstrable ability to develop and execute complex cross-functional plans.

Proven ability to build highly effective collaborative working relationships with key internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Executive presence. An accomplished presenter and visionary who has successfully built support for, and secured funding for, large-scale enterprise-wide initiatives

Experience building strong teams and setting the tone for a high-trust environment. Proven ability to hire, develop, motivate, and mentor top talent.

Proactive, innovative spirit in researching and responding quickly to new ideas and trends
