Job Descriptions:Position Summary:The Senior Client Management Lead has responsibility as the point of contact for major workstreams and/or meetings for the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) Planning and Coordination (PC) contract. This role has the ultimate accountability for a successful client and Alliance partner relationships. This is a leadership position that requires significant skills in change management, communication, and problem resolution. Must be comfortable in a high velocity and complex environment and operate with incomplete information and without formal authority over disparate stakeholders.Responsibilities:Client Relationship ManagementCreate strategic visions for client and partner relationship management and execute against the visions

Ensure consistent one voice of the NAEP Alliance communication to client

Continually influence client to establish agreed upon processes, timelines, and deliverables

Educate Functional Centers of Excellence (FCEs) on future capabilities required by client or Alliance partners in order to achieve client goals

Contract Management/Change RequestsWork with Senior Management to respond to client RFPs, change requests, and cost requests with support from General Counsel and Finance as needed

Business DevelopmentMaintain, cultivate, and grow client and Alliance partner relationships

Gather, analyze, and disseminate client feedback on contract performance for continuous improvement/better positioning to respond to RFPs

Represent ETS and/or the NAEP Planning and Coordination contract at conferences and workshops

Financial ManagementInfluence and significantly contribute to Request for Proposal (RFP) process

Adhere to ethical standards and comply with the laws and regulations applicable to your job function

Required Experience:Education, Certifications, or Special Licenses:MBA or Ph.D. preferred

Advanced Degree in Education, Education Measurement, Business Development, Product Content, or related field is required

A relevant combination of education and experience is preferred

Relevant Years of Experience:7-10 years of experience in a client/constituent organization

Experience in Account Management in Publishing, Education related fields, Sales & Marketing, or Business Development required

Other Requirements:Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Strong abilities in group facilitations skills, including leading group decision making, resolving conflicts, and managing group processes

Facility with spreadsheets and other standard software programs

Ability to work in complex, ambiguous and changing environments

Must submit documentation and follow processes to obtain moderate security clearance from the Federal Government
