The consultant must possess an operational security mindset, superior customer interaction skills, and a broad perspective on information security topics.Operate in both single- and multi-person customer-facing engagements to achieve Lumen delivery expectations.

Provide thought leadership, develop and build, and productized IT security professional services.

Provides solution development for the Security Advisory Services for strategic initiatives.

Collaborate with solutions architects, product development and support teams to help customers and partners learn and propose productized consulting services offerings.

Assess broad trends in the IT security space and propose, develop and institutionalize simple solutions that address evolving customer needs.

Create reusable productized security services and assets (collaterals, estimation models, case studies, SOW and Proposal templates).

Collaborate with Lumen team members from engineering, product training, and support to help productized consulting services.

Work with practice leads, sales and sales support, and business teams to convey customer feedback as input to security productized services.

Demonstrated ability to integrate parties that may be required during solution development to ensure seamless integration, scoping and pricing for productized services.

Provides domain leadership across various Security technologies and service offerings.

Demonstrates knowledge of end-to-end information security strategies, standards, processes, and tools necessary for Security solution design.

Demonstrates technical security and advisory leadership for customers, sales, and other consultants.

The Main ResponsibilitiesWork directly for the Lumen Security Product teams to create/productize/pre-package new product initiatives.

Work with all the necessary security points of contact within Lumen, support design of security consulting service offerings.

Provide subject matter expertise, understand requirement nuances, and transform a service concept into an offering.

Create standardized deliverable templates, statement of work templates, pricing templates, tear sheets, sales presentations, and sales collaterals.

Must be capable of creating security consulting service offerings with minimal oversight: working in Agile environment with product teams building pre-packaged services, working with marketing to brand and advertise offerings, and educate sales teams to sell the new services.

What We Look For in a Candidate5+ years of experience as an information security professional in information security consulting.

Solid understanding of security tasks related to Windows, Linux/Unix, networking, and security platforms in corporate IT infrastructure environments. Working knowledge is expected in the following areas:

MEDR

Managed SIEM

SOC Services

SASE

Incident Response

Vulnerability Management

Security Strategy and Architecture consulting

Security Awareness and Training

Data Protection

Ability to work within an Agile environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Able to successfully interact with audiences that may include senior executives, IT management, and technical staff.

Process-oriented with a focus on attention to detail

Willingness to learn and become proficient in new technologies, products, and services.

Maintain a technical skill set that that matches the evolving security of Lumen customers and corresponding security services.

Commitment to excellence and willingness to do what is necessary to get the job done

Ability to travel in support of meetings, presentations, conferences, and similar events

Education and Certifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science with preferable focus on Cybersecurity and/or equivalent experience.

Must have at least one of the following: CISSP, GSEC, CISM, CISA, and/or comparable security certifications.
