Pro Innovation Inc. is an IT service provider and direct vendor for State of Washington agencies. We are locally based company working with state agencies for last 10 years. We are looking for a Technical Project manager for one of our government clients.

Located in Olympia, WA (70 miles south of Seattle) Currently work from home is allowed.

Job Type: Contract

Duration of contract: 1 year Project Manager should be experienced in enterprise-wide projects, characterized by high organizational impact, multiple project dependencies and multiple stakeholders with varying business backgrounds and interests. In addition to managing the initiation, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and close-out, the project manager will provide executive level support, facilitate strategic business decisions, and provide leadership to project staff across departmental boundaries.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business, Computer Science or other closely related field.
  • 7 years of advanced knowledge and progressive experience in a wide range of technical disciplines such as systems analysis, IT quality assurance, system administration, network administration, software development/configuration, environment hosting, and cyber security.
  • A project management certification from an accredited institution.
  • Advanced knowledge and progressively complex experience managing large IT projects to successful implementation and closure.
  • Advanced knowledge and progressive experience implementing a variety of project management methodologies, tools and techniques such as Agile, Waterfall, Lean, Six Sigma, PMBOK, or hybridization of more than one.
  • Advanced knowledge and progressive experience in Organizational Change Management (OCM) methodologies, practices and techniques such as PROSCI.
  • Advanced knowledge and technical proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS), and Microsoft Project.
Desirable qualifications include:
  • Experience implementing Salesforce solutions.
  • Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP).
  • Basic knowledge of Washington State contracts and procurement law.
Balanced business/ technical background:• Sufficient level of technical background to provide highly-credible leadership to development teams and to be able to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project risks and issues.• Ability to provide leadership to business analysts and collaborate with customers and develop strategies and solutions of high business value.
