The client receiving care is a male quadriplegic in his 40s with a spinal cord injury. Care will be performed in-home. Female caregivers preferred.
The following are two shifts for which caregivers are being hired.
Position 1 …. Monday thru Friday mornings: 7:00am-1:00am (30 hrs per week) – Benefits Available
Assist client prepare for the day: Range of motion, Bowel program Showering, Catheter care, Dressing, Meal prep, Light cleaning/laundry, Care for cat
Position 2 …. Saturday and Sunday mornings: 7:00pm – 1:00pm & Tuesday night 10-12am with optional Monday night 8:00pm – 12:00am (10-14 hours per week)
Saturday and Sunday Morning: Range of motion, Bowel program Showering, Catheter care, Dressing, Meal prep, Light cleaning/laundry
Tuesday Night: Preparing for bed and bedtime routine
Optional Monday Evening: Meal prep, Light cleaning, Light shopping, Prepare for bed and bedtime routine
LOCATION / PAY RATE
Location: Olympia (Near Martin Way East/College St NE)
Payrate: $15 per hour
PREFERENCES / REQUIREMENTS
Experience is a plus, but NOT REQUIRED … individuals will certainly be considered for these positions even without direct professional experience – who possess either 1) related personal experience or 2) exceptional related skills and who are teachable.
State certification is a plus but NOT Immediately REQUIRED – Certified Home Care Aid (75-hour training) needed within 200 days of hire.
