WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

The Senior Program Coordinator provides high-level technical support, administrative supervision and direction for program staff, and collaborates with community partners to build opportunities for enhanced service delivery and competency of the local workforce system.

 Responsible for coordinating and overseeing program contract process including contract initiation, contract negotiation, monitoring and compliance activities associated with all Workforce Services Contracts.

 Have a complete understanding of contract goals, objectives, target groups and budget.

 Primary contact for contractors and agency program managers, providing technical assistance as needed.

 Monitor the contract process and ensure contracts are executed with the highest level of efficiency, clarity and professionalism.

 Requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with co-workers, management and contract service providers. Supervises program specialists and other assigned staff.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE IS A PROFESSIONAL¦

 With knowledge of contemporary contract management standards, contract monitoring and compliance practices. Experience working with federal and state regulations.

 Having the ability to work independently and perform contract services from inception to completion.

 Demonstrates the ability to analyze, monitor budgets, prepare fiscal reports and audit expenditures/programs.

 Strong organizational skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy

 Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Skill in utilizing a personal computer and associated software, including MS office.

ADDITIONAL POSITION DETAILS

 Location: Tumwater, WA

 Type of Role: Full Time

 Full Salary Range: $5,073 “ 6,647/month with a published Starting Salary Range: $5,073 “ 5,573/month

Benefits Package: PERS Retirement system, fully covered employee medical, dental, vision, life and long term disability insurance. Additional allowance for dependent care.

 Paid Time Off Benefits: 10 paid holidays, 1 paid personal day, 1 community service day, and starting 12 hours of accrued paid time off monthly.
