Summary: Provides excellent customer service and represents Kitsap Bank in a courteous, professional manner. Performs a variety of maintenance, evaluation, installation, and training tasks to enable users to maximize productivity. Performs routine daily network administration duties.

Essential Functions:

Installs, configures, maintains, and supports personal computers, networks workstations, file servers, and other related equipment and devices.

Troubleshoots and resolves network challenges to ensure minimal disruption of critical applications.

Implements policies and procedures related to network hardware and software acquisition, use, support and security.

Monitors and remediates network operations including patch management, backups, email, operating system events, hardware events and authentication.

Maintains documentation concerning all parts of the operational environment including infrastructure, license management, assets, and regulatory compliance requirements.

Implements, and supports network applications, file permissions, and file system integrity.

Makes recommendations regarding purchases of computers, network hardware, peripheral equipment, and software.

Performs software and application installation and upgrades.

Monitors, reports, and investigates server storage

Troubleshoots networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties.

Routinely check for security advisories from reliable sources and respond if necessary

Additional Responsibilities:

Participates in team meetings, providing input and suggestions.

Provides after hours and on call assistance as needed.

Assists support staff or work teams, either functionally or administratively.

Performance of duties during Bank approved maintenance windows may require flexible scheduling

Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Three to five years work experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Knowledge of Microsoft Solutions, Antivirus, Web Content, and Data Retention products.

Must have access to transportation and ability to drive to various bank branches and department locations.

Familiarity with scripting languages, such as Powershell

Must have strong analytical mindset, and solid problem-solving skills

Knowledge of a range of computer networking systems and languages, current technological developments and trends in area of expertise.

Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.

Knowledge of federal copyright laws as they pertain to the use of computer

software.

Network Cable Testing Equipment

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit at a work station for long periods of time.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Must stand and/or walk for more than four (4) hours of the work day.
