The Boeing Commercial Airplanes organization is currently seeking a Lean Practitioner (Level 3) to support the 737 Team in Renton, Washington.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Instructs others in continuous improvement tools and principles.
  • Develops and updates instructional materials.
  • Works with internal or external customers.
  • Leads and facilitates complex process improvement efforts.
  • Identifies risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Creates enhancements to existing improvement tools.
  • Supports the development and deployment of new tools.
  • Supports business acquisition. Participates in the evaluation process.


This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes , lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ years of Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience.
  • 3+ years' experience establishing Lean practices.
  • 3 years of experience assisting implementation of Lean Production Systems & Principles


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Experience in a team environment.
  • Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience.
  • Lean Manufacturing experience in an automotive or aerospace industry


Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:
