This opportunity is for a Deskside Support Technician position, providing infrastructure IT support services for our client as an integral part of their IT Service Desk Team. This role will be based out of Paterson, WA and will be responsible for any onsite support needed at other locations in E. Washington including Prosser, Benton City, and Walla Walla. This position in an integral part of their Tier 2 Service Desk and will work closely with the entire IT team including the Tier 1 Help Desk and all other Tier2/Tier3 IT teams.

Responsibilities include:
  • Provide hands-on IT support to end-users at multiple Eastern Washington locations (Patterson, Prosser, Benton City, and Walla Walla)
  • Provide remote IT support to end users across all locations (Washington, Oregon, California, Remote Sales)
  • Handle IT Incidents and Service Requests via ServiceNow ticketing system and provide timely solutions and services in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Image, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, printers, monitors, and other related peripherals
  • Manage local new hire IT onboarding and termination processes
  • Track and maintain relevant hardware and software using company inventory asset control standards
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot supported operating systems and applications including but not limited to MS Windows 10, MS Office suite, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Work with approved vendors for both IT and non-IT requests to support business requirements.
  • Handle specialized projects as assigned by management.
  • Work independently on day-to-day operations.
  • Provide video conference and A/V support for conference rooms and special events as needed.
  • Manage local hardware inventory lifecycle, including equipment recycling as required.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT Technical Support role.
  • The ideal candidate will have exposure to a wide range of IT hardware, software, and general knowledge
  • Experience with end user support of laptops, desktops, and peripherals (Microsoft Windows 10 experience required, MAC OSX helpful)
  • Experience with laptop/desktop imaging and configuration (SCCM, WDS, Intune)
  • Familiarity with wired and wireless networking.
  • Functional knowledge of core networking concepts including TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS is a plus
  • Hands on experience with network infrastructure (switches, routers, WAPs, etc) is a plus.
  • Experience supporting hardware and software in a manufacturing or production environment a plus.
  • Experience with managing incidents/service request in an ITSM Ticket Management system.
  • ServiceNow experience is a big plus.
  • Ability to perform in a dynamic environment with changing schedules and priorities.
  • Must be able to travel between Eastern Washington sites as required
  • Participation in the Service Desk on call rotation.
  • Excellent customer service skills and focus.
  • Demonstrated problem solving, excellent communication and listening skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; must be able to write clear, concise technical documentation when needed.
  • Excellent time management, decision making, and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs
