METER Group, Inc. USA is seeking a Copywriter who will be responsible for both content writing and media creation for a marketing team for its Horticulture business unit.
The Copywriter will collaborate with subject matter experts across the organization regarding technical specifications and applications while applying uniform formatting across all generated content.
They will also be creating training programs for clients that improve their experience with equipment and software. This individual will work within the Marketing Department while coordinating with stakeholders throughout the METER Horticulture business unit.
This role adds value by actively engaging clients and potential clients by maintaining a cohesive brand voice for the AROYA Product.

Responsibilities :
Ability to take a complicated piece of technology or software and encapsulate it in unforgettable words and presentations.
Actively interview technical experts on all aspects of cannabis cultivation and processing, and distill that information into engaging content that increases client success
The right candidate may be called on to write headlines, both short-form and long-form product copy, video or educational presentations for the cannabis industry
Monitor current competitors, industry trends, and technology
Partner with stakeholders to build more efficient processes and a templated approach to content campaigns
Manage multiple projects at one time
Minimum Qualifications :
B.A. in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field
5-7 years of experience writing marketing copy
Experience writing for B2B customers and the ability to collaborate well with Art Directors and Product Managers
A solid understanding of technology and the cloud
Knowledge of proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation
Flexibility and patience in the face of changing methods and objectives
Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
An optimistic attitude, infectious positivity.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with curriculum design
Interest in plant science and horticulture
