Moscow Family Eye Care is hiring an ophthalmology tech for our rapidly growing ophthalmology practice.
Your primary duties will be:
Working directly with patients
Performing pretesting before the patient's exam
Charting and documentation
Following up on post-exam tasks such as correspondence, referrals and prescriptions.
Cross training for other areas of the practice, including
Helping patients select and fit glasses
Patient checkin and checkout
Setting appointments, and answering phones

As a tech, you're responsible for welcoming patients to their visits. First impressions matter, so it's important for you to be friendly, welcoming and professional.
We're a busy, rapidly growing office. Things can get a bit hectic, and it's important that our employees can keep up without getting overwhelmed. You'll need to be comfortable asking questions when you don't know the answer, as well as solving problems without outside help.
Customer service is very, very important to us. We like our patients. We want them to enjoy coming to see us. We want our employees to go above-and-beyond when it comes to making our patients happy.
Accuracy and detail are also very, very important for this position.
You've got big plans? We're glad to hear it. We're looking for employees who will take initiative. Our ideal candidate is motivated to grow with theÂpractice, andÂhelp us achieve growth.
We see patients from 8AM to 530PM Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, Wednesday 8AM to 7PM and 8AM to 5PM Fridays. This is a 30-40 hour per week position, schedules can be variable, with the possibility of occasional overtime during particularly busy times.
We're a digital practice that uses technology to improve our patient care. You'll have a leg up ifÂyourÂcomfortable with technology.
