NIC Global, a leading manufacturer of sheet metal and mechanical assemblies, is currently seeking an experienced Shipping Coordinator to join our team at our Pullman, WA facility. NIC Global is a single-source manufacturer providing turn-key mechanical and electromechanical assembly, expert sheet metal fabrication, and global sourcing of metal and plastic components. We provide products to great customers such as Philips, PACCAR (Kenworth & Peterbilt), Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Physio Controls, and Leviton to name a few. Our growing company employs nearly 600 people in Washington, Tennessee, Ohio, and Texas. SUMMARY

The Shipping Coordinator works with multiple departments within the organization and with outside entities to ensure that parts are shipped according to customer demand.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

Prepare shipping reports; pick lists and labels.

Communicate with Warehouse Coordinator for status on items that need to ship daily.

Utilize the computer system (ERP) to track inventory.

Maintain inventory locations and quantities in the finished goods area.

Occasionally backup the delivery driver by making local deliveries to the customer using a box truck.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school level education or equivalent and specialized training which may be obtained in vocational courses or on the job.

Great customer service skills a must.

Experience in a warehouse environment.

Experience driving a forklift.

Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.

Previous experience with shipping, deliveries, and freight.

Other necessary skills: self-motivated, creative problem solver, enthusiasm, team oriented behaviors, leadership skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to lift 50bs with or without accommodations.
