The Water Department is looking for a new and energetic team member to assist in the maintenance and repair of the water production and distribution system to ensure a clean and safe water supply for our residents. We are ready to train and teach the right person from Apprentice through Senior level for the job when they bring a positive and willing attitude to learn and be part of the mission of the City!
Under the direction of the Water Distribution or Production Supervisor as assigned, or acting crew leader or more senior operator, maintains and repairs the water production and distribution system to include all appurtenances; ensures the water supplied to consumers is safe.
The purveyance of water is a vital service to the community and as such requires the availability of City personnel at all times. Employees will be required to respond to emergency calls, accept periodic overtime assignments, and perform any and all duties deemed necessary by the City.

Journey: $23.39/hr
Senior: $25.26/hr
