Description
Under the direction of a Charge RN, prepares all equipment for endoscopic procedures, cleans equipment properly using appropriate protocols and procedures, prepares equipment for repair and tracks repairs, and assists in all Endoscopic procedures for the Ambulatory Surgery Center. Accountable for demonstrating knowledge of principles and practice of aseptic techniques, and all Quality assurance activities related to infection control and disinfection/sterilization of endoscopic equipment.

Required qualifications:
Coursework/Training and Completion of a Surgical Technology, Anesthesia Technologist, Certified Nurse Assistant or Medical Assistant program.
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
6 months of Healthcare experience
Preferred qualifications:
1 year of Scope processing, scheduling procedures, computer data entry, and assisting in the procedure room.
