Role Device Test Engineer
Location Redmond WA(onsite from day one).
Job Description:
1. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience mobile application testing.
2. Perform Mobile testing on live/ Lab network on 3G, LTE and LTE advance technologies like VoWiFi, CA, etc. using Tools like R&S CMW500, Anite Keysigtht, Anritsu
3. Should experience in Mediatek Tools (ELT, Catcher); Qualcomm Tools (QXDM, QCAT); Intel tools (STT, Mobile Analyser) and IP tools : Wireshark
4. Knowledge of Android architecture, ADB commands like adb devices, adb logcat, etc.
5. Should be comfortable running pre-defined test scripts (70%) as well as conducting ad-hoc / free testing (30%)
6. Flash official and proprietary firmware updates to devices for testing (normal, validation, regression); enable OEM logging on Debug devices; enable and ensure root access for tests involving those devices.
7. Troubleshoot related device and performance issues on site as required; Manage resulting log files which can include reviewing for accuracy and content, and support report construction/generation as requested
8. Capture and record test results; interpret results for internal staff and customers.
9. Excellent written and verbal skills to communicate with a demonstrated ability to produce technical reports and document each step of the test process.
10. Should be able to work in flexible Shift ( includes night shift as well).
11. Should be able travel to other places for testing ( out of State) , whenever required
