Design and Implement Communications Components, Applications and Services

Partner with the Satellite, Networks and Security engineering teams

Design components, services, and relevant data models

This role is for a Software Development Engineer who will design, build, and maintain components and services of Project Kuiper's Customer Engagement Systems and interact with the core Kuiper Network.About the teamOur team owns developing the architecture, solutions & roadmap for managing the customer lifecycle for communications services; for example identity and account management, subscriber management services, user provisioning, billing and payments, customer and technical support tools, offer management tools, and customer metrics and analytics.Basic Qualifications

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market.
