Technical PM needed for Contract Opportunity with Randstad Technologies client in Redmond, WA.


Candidate background



  • Demonstrated experience at managing complex multi-partnership and partner programs in a globally dispersed corporation covering nearly every timezone with hundreds of teams
  • Computer Science degree or equivalent through higher education. Field experience also accepted of at least 3 years in cloud infrastructure, specifically developing and operating microservices at planet scale
  • 3+ years experience with C# & .NET Framework

  • This is a technical question heavy role. All engagements are directly with engineering teams and it's expected that this candidate will facilitate along with support from experts in .NET Core and Azure Compute answering all questions/resolving all problems
  • Similar roles are often titled technical program manager, technical project manager, technical delivery manager and similar. You aren't writing code, or debugging issues directly, but the technical understanding to engage with your customers (engineers), ability to ask the right questions to help root cause issues, and route issues to owning teams is required to deliver and partner effectively with those that do

responsibilities:


  • Drive program across the internal organisation to ensure Azure service teams prioritise and deliver on upgrade commitments by June 2021 realising compute performance improvements, and Azure Compute spend savings
  • Deliver a program which makes the complex simpler to understand through a regular rhythm of business. Helping respond to issues, risks, and highlighting accomplishments continuously. Regular reporting to leadership teams and participating in the infrastructure team rhythm of business is expected as the program driver
  • Build and develop partnerships including participation, support, and SLAs to include incident escalation paths with the .NET & Azure Compute team
  • Build technical knowledge in running .NET Core on Cloud Services & AKS, be able to understand and route to correct experts first time, and/or as appropriate provide support for known issues through documented guidance to service owners with the upgrade
