OFCI Buyer / Expeditor

• Location: Remote

• Number of openings: 1

• Estimated start date: ASAP

• Daily schedule and OT estimate: M-F 8-5 EST, must support EST or CST.

We are looking for someone with a background of procuring equipment (owner furnish contractor installed). This person will manage purchase orders, expedite procurement schedule throughout the project, and will ensure that this equipment will reach the site and is installed correctly.

-Background of procuring equipment

-Understands submittals and drawings

-Experience with equipment drawings (understanding process of receiving drawings, work with engineer to get drawings approved)

• Years of experience required - 5 years of experience
• 2+ years of experience in procurement and contract administration
• Experience working on a variety of projects to include technology-based clients
• Strong understanding of contract requirements and the preparation of RFxs/RFIs.
• Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
• Ability to establish and build successful supplier relationships.
• Experience with equipment buying and expediting.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency and experience with various procurement methodologies and sourcing techniques.
• Ability to operate and execute effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and challenging deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, influencing and persuasion skills
• Results-focused, with a proactive approach to workload

• Degrees or certifications required- Bachelors or equivalent
• Disqualifiers- N/A
• Best vs. average (Nice to have's)- Technology experience
• Performance indicators- Feedback based
