Community Coordinator

• Location: Remote

• Number of openings: 1

• Daily schedule and OT estimate: 9 hours a day (9 Am to 6 PM). The candidate should be comfortable taking early morning or late evening calls (remotely is fine) based on the requirement

The Community Coordinator Specialist Role:

This role is chartered with the responsibility of supporting the Canada and American (CanAm) Community Program Manager with the execution of the influencer programs. This role will join a global virtual team of other Community Marketing Specialists to form a worldwide program support team what will partner with the global community manager team to accelerate the execution and impact of the program.

Key Responsibility Areas:

  • Review - potential influencers and existing influencers: 30%
    • Own the first level of evaluation for nominated candidates based on their contributions and social influence.

    • Meet virtually with nominated candidates and existing influencers to gain
  • Recruitment: 15%
    • Aid in finding and shortlisting potential influencers from social channels and other identified tools.
    • Manage a nurturing program aimed at skilling up potential influencer candidates before nominating them to the programs.
    • Own the first level of evaluation for nominated candidates based on their contributions and social influence.
    • Help in the rest of the evaluation process by enriching the nomination records with additional information etc.
  • Engagement: 40%
    • Design and manage a month-on-month engagement schedule for the influencers.
    • Manage the creation of a monthly newsletter designed exclusively for the influencers.
    • Liaise with the internal teams to consolidate information and materials required for amplification as well as sharing with the influencers.
    • Own the management of the monthly cadence calls between the influencers and the country community manager.
    • Lead the management of the regular monthly engagement activities between the technology evangelists and the influencers.
  • Event Management: 15%
    • Plan and manage regular virtual community events with the influencers across the year.
    • Co-own the planning and execution of the annual MVP and RD Summits and Community Connection event along with the CanAm Community Program Manager.
    • Work with event managers from other Microsoft teams to ensure strong representation of the influencer programs in other Microsoft-led or Microsoft-sponsored events.
    • Assist with agency relations, operations and finance related to events.

Education Skills:
  • Any graduation (basic knowledge of IT and related functions will be an advantage)
  • An MBA would be an optional added advantage.
