The Boeing Company is looking for a Mid-Level Transportation Analyst to join the team in SeaTac, WA! Position Responsibilities: Managing transportation management processes to ensure they meet customer requirements Support function including problem analysis, tracking and tracing shipments, expedite shipment management Determining the most cost-effective methods for transporting goods without sacrificing efficiency and timeliness Research, create cost estimates, and negotiate transportation options Collect, analyze, and make recommendations using data about timeliness, cost, types of modes, etc. This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Experience multi-tasking (i.e., handling daily work, urgent emerging issues, project management, and phone call requests, etc.) Experience interacting with business partners and customers Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Route Planning Experience Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
