Tour Guide - hourly + TIPS (Seattle)

Vacancy expired!

Seattle's #1 Land & Water Tour is now hiring Tour Guides!

Do you enjoy meeting people from all over the world and sharing the story of Seattle?

Our goal is to provide a tour of Seattle with the perfect balance of education and entertainment, topped with a heaping portion of fun!

All training provided

Our 90 minute amphibious tour covers nearly 20 miles throughout the city - which includes a brief cruise on Lake Union. Exemplary Tour Guides are outgoing, energetic and engaging with clear communication skills and the ability to think and act quickly. You should be flexible enough to adapt to each group of guests in addition to Seattle's ever-changing environment.

Public speaking or performance experience are not necessary, but are a huge PLUS!

Ideal candidates must be personable, approachable, and knowledgeable. We strive to provide an unforgettable experience for each of our guests.

Since our Ducks go on the water, Tour Guides are classified as Deckhands, and must meet the requirements set by the United States Coast Guard. You will be trained in CPR/First Aid in addition to the emergency features of the Duck, and participate in the drills mandated by the USCG. Tour Guides must also obtain a Washington State Safe Boaters Card.

Ride the Ducks of Seattle is an EOE.

As Tour Guides, you wont be operating a Duck vehicle - however, this position is safety-sensitive and requires a pre-employment drug test and continued enrollment in a random drug / alcohol testing program.

Please reply with a cover letter telling us why you think you're perfect for this position along with your resume.
