Summary: We're a progressive, established school in Bellevue, WA looking for experienced MATH, ENGLISH or MATH+ENGLISH instructors. Are you looking for exceptional students and the possibility of long-term, stable employment and benefits? This is a unique opportunity for qualified instructors with a proven track record.

MERCER EDUCATION serves a diverse group of students, many of whom are preparing for highly selective universities around the country. Our students range from elementary school age through college to professional adults. Most of our teachers have advanced degrees and several years of teaching experience in a variety of classroom settings. In addition to competitive hourly pay DOE, we offer medical coverage options (including vision and dental) and a Simple IRA plan for eligible employees. Additionally, there are approximately five weeks during the year (in June, August, December) when classes are not scheduled and teachers have time off from the busy year-round schedule of classes. Other perks include easy access to freeways, free parking, all the coffee, tea, and hot chocolate you can drink while teaching established programs in a unique, upbeat working environment with professional, dedicated staff and motivated clientele. EOE.

SUMMER TEACHING OPPORTUNITY - Seeking candidates with summer availability (from approx. end of June until last week of August), availability of 30 or more hours per week during our peak summer hours (at least M-Fri, 9-3). WE ARE LOOKING FOR TEACHERS FOR SESSION II AND SESSION III OF OUR SUMMER SAT CAMPS STARTING 7/22 AND 8/5.

PART-TIME or FULL-TIME TEACHING OPPORTUNITY - This position would be part-time hourly to start (as few as 8 hrs/week) but - if you are interested - could build to a full-time (average 32 or more hours/week over 12 months), position for the right candidate.

YEAR-ROUND TEACHING OPPORTUNITY - Seeking candidates with availability during the school year, availability of at least 8 hrs/week (the more, the better, w/priority for those w/more availability) during our peak hours (after school, evenings and at least one weekend day).
