Precious Child Care & Preschool is a Christian day care center operated under the direction of Christ the Rock Fellowship. The Program Supervisor will support the Director in developing and implementing an age-appropriate curriculum. The Program Supervisor will coach teachers in policy, procedure, and the daily mission of Precious Child Care & Preschool in daily work and teaching. Part-time position - 20 to 25 hours per week with a flexible schedule. All applicants must have a minimum of 45 credit hours in ECE.Responsibilities Effectively communicate classroom expectations to teachers and support the Director with teacher and classroomobservations. Communicate with children effectively and respectfully. Support the teachers with positive student communication and the ultimate goal of building strong student/teacher relationships. Assist teachers in using flexibility when trying to understand the important needs and development of the children. Train teachers and staff in the implementation of our curriculum. Communicate effectively and respectfully with parents, guardians, and family members regarding student abilities, development, behavior, progress, or parental concerns. Oversee the correct documentation of students’ progress Help teachers and staff obtain the minimum state of Washington continuing education requirements through MERIT. Support the completion of all hiring and training requirements; First Aid/CPR, food handlers, etc. Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications Profession that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior. Actively attend church.EDUCATION: Washington State ECE State Certificate (45 credits)EXPERIENCE: Two years of previous experience in a leadership role.LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION: Approved by the Department of Early Learning through state licenser to be in a leadership role absent the Principal and Assistant Principal. Certificate of Center Licensing training complete. Possess First Aid and CPR. CLASS certified. Reliable in TS Gold.SOFTWARE / EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE: Computer, Windows, Basic Microsoft office programs, and tools.OTHER: Be able to lift 25 lbs.We are looking forward to receiving your application.
