Basic Overview: These job openings are for our summer classes. You will teach small groups (3-6 students) from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. M-F from July 1st through August 23rd, 2019.

Competitive Pay Starting pay is $20 per hour. After a brief trial period, you will be eligible for regular automatic raises as well as performance-based raises.
Modern, Professional Facility Unlike other tutoring centers, we dont use open space or cubicles. We have proper classrooms with comfortable chairs, clean, spacious desks, markerboards, and bookshelves.
Friendly Work Environment Our tutors are mostly young professionals or graduate students. We are an enthusiastic group and are always willing to help each other with advice, resources, or suggestions. The owners, Mr. and Mrs. Kim, are friendly and encouraging. They know every student and do their best to make every lesson as effective and helpful as possible.
Job Details:
Teach Small Groups (3-6 students)
July 1st through August 23rd, 2019
Monday through Friday
9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. daily classes.
2:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. optional individual tutoring sessions
Starting Pay: $20 per hour
Automatic and merit-based raises available after a trial period
Teaching experience is preferred but is not a requirement for outstanding applicants.
We prefer applicants who will continue to work with us in the following school year.
Job Description:
You will teach small groups of students from grades 6-12, depending on which course youre teaching. These courses range from SAT/ACT test preparation to math (Algebra and Geometry) and English enrichment. You will only teach within your specialty and we will discuss possible class assignment during the interview.
Our tutors share their enthusiasm and passion for learning with their students. The enrichment classes are designed to help prepare students for the upcoming school year and to provide a high level of intellectual engagement over the summer months. The SAT/ACT preparation classes fill a hole that most schools neglect by helping students review and practice for these standardized tests. We prefer to hire people who are willing to work through the summer and into the next school year.
