Family seeking a classroom aide to work one-on-one with their second grade child for the 2020/2021 school year at Meridian Elementary.
-help with one-on-one support during academic times to complete tasks
Direct instruction of math and language arts concepts and skills.
-continuing to help build strategies to complete work efficiently, accurately, and independently
-support with step-by-step guidance during tasks
-calm, caring, and patient
-can easily interact with elementary age students
-guide in problem solving strategies both social and academic
-prior experience in education and working with children preferred
-starting full time (8:30-3:00) and possibly reducing hours over the course of the year. Summer tutoring starting in July/August preferred. A few hours a few days a week.
