Job Details

Roles and Responsibilities
- Create, regularly update, and manage the project schedule and work plan to ensure that the team is able to meet all milestones and the project delivery date is met. Coordinate with clients and consultants. Track the project budget and verify design is aligned with construction cost.
- Manage staffing and the fee for the scope of work and review and oversee the distribution of client invoices on a monthly basis.
- Prepare fee proposals and additional services proposals.
- Review contracts and participate in contract negotiation with Principal in Charge.
- Manage the project program and ensure alignment with the project budget.
- Schedule and participate in the QA/QC of the project.
- Administers QC Plan.
- Maintains project schedule and establishes document review times and durations.
- Sets aside budgets for the required QC reviews throughout the project.
- Schedule and facilitate weekly team meetings.
- Is aware of main project issues, design options, and technical decisions.
- Ensure efficient and cost-effective execution of the project.
- Participate in the Owner / Architect meetings and other critical project meetings.
- Manage overall project communication.
- Manage project documentation in collaboration with Project Architect.
- Professionally represent the firm to clients and maintain client satisfaction.
- Oversee Construction Contract Administration process in collaboration with Project Architect.

Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent years of experience under a licensed Architect's supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent presentation and marketing skills.
- Must be knowledgeable about contracts and contract negotiation.
- Should have previous experience as a Project Architect or Design Staff or several projects of various scales and complexities.
- Familiar or proficient with current versions of Revit BIM, Excel, and Smartsheets is preferred.
- Is flexible, a problem-solver, and collaborative.
- Able to manage tasks for several projects running simultaneously.
- Experience with K-12 projects is a plus.
- LEED certification is desired as well as a demonstration of a strong understanding of sustainable design.
