Job Description:

Looking for talent to lead our Seattle based team to enhance authentication of bank applications by using Java, UI, and other emerging technologies. This role develops new applications while support existing ones. This individual will lead a group of engineers located both on-shore and off-shore, while also working closely with architects, as well as the line of business to provide implementation solutions to protect various banking software applications. This individual must be able to create design prototypes and document the current state of applications in terms of those parameters and also describe future state. This role will be involved in every release, project and all phases of development and will work 1:1 with team members to achieve higher yearly standards of successful and efficient application development process efficiency.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 7 yrs. experience developing mission critical, large scale, high volume enterprise & distributed applications, using Java/J2EE
  • Strong understanding of OO design & Java programming skills using one or multiple J2EE application servers
  • Strong experience in Java development of RESTful Services using Spring Framework, Spring Boot and SOAP Webservices
  • Apache Kafka for online data publishing and consuming experience
  • Junit Test cases development, Performance Testing, Optimization and Code analysis
  • Relational Oracle SQL/PLSQL and No SQL distributed Cassandra DB Technologies
  • Experience with Development tools like Eclipse/IntelliJ IDE's, Maven, GIT, Bit Bucket, CI/CD pipelines, Splunk and SOAP UI
  • SOAP UI Automation for integrated and standalone API Testing
  • Experience building high volume, scalable, available & distributed technologies
  • Experience in standard development design patterns ofCreational, Behavioral & JEE
  • Experience handling cross-functional issues by coordinating with regional distributed development teams
  • Experience with development models, such as Agile, and SDLC Knowledge of test-driven development
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and adapt to a constantly changing environment to meet release deliverables
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience


Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Financial Domain in Online Banking and Fraud prevention detection by using Machine learning and Big Data Processing Technologies

As part of a hardworking team of diverse engineers, you will lead implementation of risk and opportunity management in the rocket Engine Business Unit of Blue Origin, ensuring the safe and rapid development of innovative engines and propulsion systems for space applications. You\'ll work closely with a small team of systems engineering risk managers to set high standards for risk and opportunity management, and improve our processes, tools, and training. Through daily interaction with engineering and program management teams, you\'ll guide discussions, create mitigation plans, mentor colleagues, and ensure transparency in decision-making. Your role will help programs adapt their plans ahead of time to achieve better outcomes.
