Do you enjoy simplifying the lives of your users by enabling them to consume the right information and make the right supply chain decisions for businesses without being overwhelmed with unnecessary data?As a Principal UX Designer in the AWS Supply Chain organization, you will shape the design language that defines applications and tools used by enterprise users around the world. The role requires an innovator, who will champion user-centered solutions for exciting and ambitious ideas that enable fungible information sharing across organizations while allowing focused information consumption for a specific user. You will need to be working side-by-side with specialized product managers, scientists and engineers to bring designs to life.The Principal UX Designer should have deep knowledge and practical experience in application and software design, from design concept creation to development and release. You will work collaboratively with leaders inside and outside of the AWS Supply Chain organization to further ideation, prioritization, problem solving, and product delivery. You will also be responsible for conducting reviews with senior leadership with a strong ability to communicate customer and business impact of designs and other creative work.As a leader, the Principal UX Designer should have deep knowledge and practical experience in software and application design, from design concept creation to development and release and possess excellent communication abilities.Key responsibilities: Help develop a common design language across systems and applications that can be used seamlessly even across very different use cases. For example a finance leader can present their screen to a vendor manager and both are able to understand the information presented given the common language. Think through a broad spectrum of related workflows and help create a unified but flexible user experience across hundreds of different workflows Help influence and build a design practice for a new team focused on enterprise software development Work with development partners to create solutions that meet a high customer experience bar and fit with the technology requirements Deliver detailed design documentation and refined design standards to developers and partners Balance design with enterprise software operational objectives, resulting in extraordinary customer experiences Solicit and accept feedback, weigh inputs and priorities, and take part in constructive dialogue to resolve healthy debatesBasic Qualifications BA/BS degree in in visual/graphic design, HCI, interaction design, or related field preferred. May be substituted with significant industry experience and accomplishments 10+ years of experience in product, web, mobile, interaction design Portfolio of shipped work demonstrating impactful Principal design leadership and exemplary understanding of human-centered design principles Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization Ability to organize, plan, and stay ahead of the work Work must consistently demonstrate a strong aesthetic judgement and trai

As the Avionics PCB Layout Engineer within this innovative and diverse team, you will apply a deep understanding of digital, analog, mixed-signal, high-speed, RF and high-power PCB layout, and design skills for our avionics circuit designs. Responsibilities: Design and layout of high-performance, high-reliability PCBs for aerospace applications Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, firmware, and software engineers to ensure design requirements are met Work with industry-leading software (e.g.: Altium Designer) to create detailed schematics and layout design Ensure design and manufacturing practices adhere to industry standards and regulations Create and maintain technical documentation for PCB layout and design Troubleshoot and resolve any PCB design and layout issues Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians Contribute to electrical circuit designs and schematic reviews. Contribute to PCB/PCBA design reviews by providing DFM/DFA/DFT and similar value-added info. Develop and maintain board eCAD design libraries, including part footprints and related information. Demonstrate a sense of urgency, commitment, and focus on the right priorities in each PCB design. Independently determine the general approach and provide reliable solutions to technical problems including working through complex issues related to PCB layouts and assemblies. Collaborate in defining PCB development process improvements (procedures and checklists). Check the quality of work of other layout resources, including internal and external resources. Mentor internal layout resources on PCB layout and Altium best practices. Qualifications: A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in PCB layout and design, specifically in the aerospace and defense industry Strong understanding of digital, analog, mixed-signal, and high-speed layout, and design Experience using industry-leading software such as Allegro, Altium Designer, Eagle PCB, Proteus, etc. Ability to create detailed schematics and layout design Familiarity with industry standards and regulations such as IPC-6012 Cla
