Job Description:
Q Analyst sis looking for Test Automation scripters to help develop a robust test automation for our Client's framework. The Test Automation Scripter will develop automation solutions and will need to be familiar with programming languages and able to learn best practices.

Job Responsibilities
  • Working on automation infrastructure to determine best practices and bring forward solutions to challenges
  • Writing automated test cases within existing automation infrastructure
  • Writing scripts assisting manual quality assurance
  • Investigating automation failures
  • Reporting and tracking bugs found by automation
  • Modifying existing automation to fix errors
  • Developing and maintaining a backlog of test cases to automate in partnership with QA leadership at Meta
  • Coordinating and communicating with partner development teams on their test cases that need automation
  • Reporting on progress and blockers the test engineers encounter

Skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Expert ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Expert ability to effectively coordinate multiple efforts simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in two or more of the following Python, JavaScript

Experience
  • Experience writing automated functional tests
  • JavaScript experience in previous projects is a

    MUST.
  • Experience writing software and tests in hack/PHP and JavaScript, and then some familiarity with the product languages, i.e. Obj-C, Java, Kotlin

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Design and implement test plans and procedures for the overall software verification effort. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers representing space vehicle systems, mission-control infrastructure, operations fields, and customers to verify software requirements, architectures and designs. Develop rapid prototypes to prove out concepts and quantify technical risks. Produce and contribute to documentation for software test architecture, design, verification plans, user manuals and training materials. Follow software development and test processes that meet Blue Origin and customer-required standards to ensure software safety and reliability. Support frequent update cycles in support of pre-flight testing, mission validation exercise and events related to operations training. Build and run unit-level and system-level tests, validate using software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop simulators, and released robust test codes. Qualifications: B.S. or higher degree in Software or Engineering related field. 2+ years of software development experience Proven software development in Python Familiarity with agile software development processes.
