Kforce has a client in search of a Quality Assurance Analyst in Seattle, Washington (WA).Overview:There will be a heavy-duty test phase in the fall and they need a manager to come into manage the test phase. They should understand the test effort and then be ready to go for the actual test. There will be a month of just ramp up on program details, but then will building out the test strategy, user acceptance test plan, laying out all key scenarios and defining origination of test execution and manage the progress of the test efforts. The client will be hiring more testers later on to help do the actual testing, this will be more around managing the test script execution.The ideal candidate will be working with program team member under the large program, so cross functional program team members. As well as supplier resources. So many things are happening in the building and in rooms that they need to be here in the building.

5 years of test management or lad experience

No certifications or degrees necessary

Strong background in financial systems testing

Need to have more business-oriented testing experience - around user experience

Emphases in user test management

Oracle

ERB

Financial/accounting company

Nice to have:

SAP Aribia experience

People who come from a bank or testing of banks, ERP testing over company financials

Disqualifiers:

Someone who has only done UAT at a video game company, not super experience around financials

Someone who doesn't have leadership experience

Performance measurement:

Measured by their ability own and manage their test approach and quality of reporting on deliverables and their ability to stay on schedule and report all key test milestones and progress to number of scripts executed to test sheet, progress on identifying all of the defects

You will demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement by applying your structural analysis expertise to identify and implement production driven improvement opportunities such producibility design changes and process driven improvements including analysis workflow, methodologies, acceptance criteria, and structural repair manuals. Basic understanding of liquid rocket engine systems, manufacturing, and production are important. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Perform structural analysis in support of engineering nonconformance and anomalies during engine production, test, and fleet service. Support production driven continuous improvement initiatives such as cost and producibility design changes. Develop production structural analysis methodology and process improvements to streamline post-development support efforts such allowable damage, acceptance criteria, and structural repair manuals. Work closely with related engineering disciplines (development structural analysis, manufacturing, design, test, quality) and technicians to help diagnose discrepancies, provide engineering dispositions, and identify corrective actions. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of a B.S. degree in mechanical, aerospace, or related engineering discipline 2+ years of structural analysis of pressurized components or similar high-performance hardware such as those used in launch vehicles, aircraft, gas turbine, or by the nuclear industry. Experience performing static and fatigue analysis utilizing both classical and/or FEM methodology. Ability to communicate technical information effectively. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Preferred Qualifications: Experience providing structural analysis in support of production, test, or fleet service to include repair/refurbishment.
