Research AssociateSeattle, WA, Full TimeDuration = One year Contract from start dateMon-Fri, 8am to 5pm (some flexibility in start/end times)DescriptionThis is a lab-based role, working in a collaborative environment to perform process analytics testing to support development programs. This position will be joining a subgroup within Analytical Core that values data quality, high productivity, and teamwork.Role Execution of multiplexed cell-based assays (killing assays, mixed lymphocyte reactions, ELISA, Luminex etc.) Execution of multiparameter Flow cytometry (Phenotypic, functional assays, etc.) Data analysis and reporting with an emphasis on high quality data and quick turnaround Improve current methods and processes to increase throughput and efficiency within the analytical core group Work with partners in a matrix group structure to support assay development, qualification and transfer Timely and thorough documentation of experiments in an Electronic Laboratory Notebook Author protocols and reports detailing experimental work and summarizing results Order, track, and maintain inventory of lab supplies and reagentsRequired Qualifications: BS in a scientific discipline with 0-3 years of relevant lab experience General knowledge of immunology and cell biology techniques and analytics Ability to work in a self-driven, fast-paced team environment, and prioritize work from multiple projects within a flexible work schedule Demonstrated experience with aseptic technique and cell-based assaysPreferred Skills: Trained in multiparameter flow cytometry as well as FlowJo and JMP analysis Prior experience handling and analyzing primary human T cell function and phenotype in a high throughput setting. Educate customers about waste reduction and sustainability, and sell products which are reusable, recycled, or refurbished. A typical way to qualify is: One year of experience in customer service and/or retail. Retail sales operations, including industry standards, requirements and Retail Sales quality measurements. Computer programs, including Microsoft Office suite of applications. Industry specific software systems (e.g., Tower). High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor\'s degree preferred, but not required. Valid driver\'s license preferred, but not required. Skill and/or Ability to: Promotes the WASTE ZERO philosophy by making the best and highest use of all resources as well as finding ways to use waste products in ways that benefit the environment. Develops strategies to effectively manage current and future challenges and opportunities; develops recommendations and actionable plans.
