Job Description
The Health and Safety Analyst will report directly to the Supply Chain Director of Health and Safety and support various safety programs and projects.
In general, the main duties of the HS Analyst include providing support for safety data and information, maintaining safety websites, scorecards and safety documentation and training development.
A day in the life Distribute weekly and monthly safety data analysis reports and scorecards. Tracking Supply Chain network training and execution.
Support safety training objectives and training plans and development. Support and develop training procedural manuals and supporting documentation for training programs and systems in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Provide safety project management support. Track safety audit results and action plans by site (DC / FC locations). Co-ordinate the development of health and safety guidelines and operating procedures.
Support network health and safety training records and documentation. Develop and maintain Supply Chain Safety internal intranet site.
You own this if you have Strong analytical skills required with the ability to create and manage dashboards / reporting on a regular basis and ad hoc as needed.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint) and higher level of Excel expertise required. Database experience (i.e. Tableau, SQL, Access, etc.
required. Experience in training / curriculum development and / or project management is an asset. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree required (no specific concentration / focus area).
Strong communication skills and the ability work in a highly cross-functional environment. Exceptional attention to detail with customer and user experience design work is preferred Incident Management system experience nice to have (i.
e. RiskMaster, etc) Safety experience desired; certifications / additional training in safety a plus (i.e. ASP, CSP, etc).
