Job Description:
• 5 years of overall experience as an SRE engineer or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of security topics including network and application security, infrastructure hardening, security baselines, and web server/ container/database security.
• Experience managing and remediating security vulnerabilities to predefined SLAs on Windows and Linux servers, as well as containerized workloads.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and proven abilities showing how to stay current on industry changes
• Working experience in one or more of Java, Spring boot, Go, or scripting experience in Shell or Perl, or Python.
• 2 years of experience in GitLab Trunk-based development, environment automation and management, docker, Helm, Config Maps, Config Secret Handling & encryption, memory, CPU management, and setting thresholds in Kubernetes containers.
• Well-versed and experienced in APIGEE Gateway, Token implementation like POP token, APIGEE Gateway Load Balancing, and other SLB and LTM solutions.
• Working knowledge of cloud-based application containerization solutions such as PCF, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Working knowledge and understanding of the principles of IAAS, PAAS, and CAAS solutions
• Knowledge of APM tools like AppDynamics; logging, analyzing, and writing complex queries in Splunk; setting observability in Grafana, Prometheus, App Dynamics, etc…
• Background on DevOps tools such as Ansible, Chef, and Puppet, will be a plus.
• Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments
• Experience creating and using automated testing and deployment tools
• PowerShell and SQL scripting experience a plus
• Programming fluency is a plus (Java, Spring boot)

As part of a hardworking team of diverse spacecraft development engineers, you will be responsible for the derivation and development of Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) requirements, analysis, algorithms, flight software, integration, test,verification,and validation of the Orbital Reef ADCS subsystem. In this role, you will use your experience in the development of on-board Guidance, Navigation, and Control technologies to drive technical innovation and solve complex challenges. Support the definition, development, and execution of simulations and tools required for verification of functionalities. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of a B.S. in aerospace, mechanical, or electrical engineeringor related field. 5 years of design experience focused on development of spacecraft GN&C. Demonstrated experience in development, implementation, and testing of GN&C algorithms on aerospace vehicles. Experience developing requirements, interfaces,tradesand analyses for GN&C applications. Proven experience in modeling and simulation. Familiarity with flight management, guidance, control, navigation, and astrodynamics fundamentals. Experience inMatlab/Simulink/Stateflow. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Preferred Qualifications M.S. or PhD in aerospace engineering or related technical field. Experience in Rendezvous, Proximity, and Docking (RPO/D) CONOPS, algorithms, trajectories, rendezvous points, safety gates and corridors, and requirements for performing RPOD operations. Experience in full lifecycle development of GN&C and/or Autonomy on spacecraft including integrated tests in high-fidelity environments. Experience designing, evaluating, and simulating state machines. Experience with collaboration tools such as Confluence and JIRA. Compensation range for on site CO applicants is $125,400-$175,560 Compensation range for on site WA applicants is $136,800-$191,520
