Job Description

We are deepening our client's third-party retail partnerships by empowering partners to activate and update customer accounts on site. Our team is building an API layer that enables any partner—including big-box retailers and tech specialty stores—to perform new activations, add new lines, make upgrades, etc., while the customer is in the store.

As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you’ll support the delivery of robust software product solutions for internal customers. Working closely with members of a cross-functional delivery team, you’ll focus on test case creation, manual test execution, and creating and maintaining test automation while reporting qualitative results against established targets.You’ll also be a key participant in application analysis, test strategy development, test execution, defect tracking, and reporting.

You’ll work side-by-side with architects, managers, and engineering consultants to gain a 360-degree perspective of the challenge at hand while contributing your unique perspective to develop innovative solutions.

About you:

  • You’re an experienced test automation engineer with exceptional analytic skills
  • Your skills are equally strong in all phases of software testing, as is your ability to create test scenarios/ cases/ data scripts based on available requirements, wireframes, and/or SME knowledge
  • You work effectively and efficiently in situations involving uncertainty or lack of information
  • You’re able to recognize, adjust to, and adapt to environmental or business/cultural nuances
  • You build and maintain rapport and trust by building strong relationships with your team, leadership, stakeholders, and clients

Qualifications

  • 5+ years professional experience as a test engineer, software quality assurance analyst, or similar role
  • 2+ years of production experience with Cucumber
  • Experience utilizing QTest
  • 1+ year experience using Postman to test APIs from Swagger; knowledge of APIs from Swagger
  • Experience writing test scenarios (positive and negative) on user stories, features, and end-to-end flows
  • Experience testing Java-based solutions and/or coding in Java
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems or computer science

As a Software Verification and Test Engineer II on Lunar Permanence, you will directly support program execution of crewed and uncrewed lunar vehicles. You will review requirements, integrate with stakeholders, create test plans and procedures, and perform activities to verify and validate vehicle flight software. Build and run unit-level and system-level tests, validate using software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop simulators, and released robust test codes.
