How you\'ll make an impact:
SiriusXM is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Product Manager to join the Data Product & Services team, focusing on instrumentation supporting data analysis and science.
You will be responsible for partnering with product, analytics, and science teams to document instrumentation requirements for our applications and translate requirements to our client and data engineering partners. You will also drive key decisions around SiriusXM\'s unique array of client devices (i.e. a wealth of different vehicle types in addition to streaming devices), balancing implementation cost and complexity against business visibility.
You will partner closely with Business Users, Analytics, Data Science, Governance, Legal, and Engineering teams across Data, Services, and Applications to distill information, design, and deliver state-of-the-art data products and services to drive business outcomes.

Serve as the liaison between business owners and technology teams:
Subject matter expert for instrumentation of product features and functionality for support of assigned programs
Actively prioritize feature development rollout and bugs for instrumentation
Work with internal SiriusXM teams and partners to define and document new feature requirements
Ensure requirements meet the development strategy (agile vs hybrid) for assigned programs
Leverage and further develop strong expertise in one or more areas of the data lifecycle (collection, management, use - including experimentation and data science, and reporting/self-service tooling), and build a strategy for your space that results in measurable results for the business.

This role is part of the Blue Origin Engines business unit, where our focus is the design, development, manufacturing and testing of engines and propulsion systems. As part of a hardworking team of diverse engineers, you will provide structural analysis in support of production engine programs at Blue Origin to support future launch cadence by New Glenn and other launch vehicles delivering both commercial and government payloads. You will support engineering nonconformances and anomalies during engine production, test, and fleet service to include repair/refurbishment as well as production and process driven continuous improvement initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will need to understand how to apply structural analysis principles in a post-development environment to include production, test, and fleet service. You will need to understand how these functions interact within the post-development lifecycle as well as the relationship to upstream product development efforts. You will demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement by applying your structural analysis expertise to identify and implement production driven improvement opportunities such producibility design changes and process driven improvements including analysis workflow, methodologies, acceptance criteria, and structural repair manuals. Basic understanding of liquid rocket engine systems, manufacturing, and production are important.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform structural analysis in support of engineering nonconformance and anomalies during engine production, test, and fleet service.
Support production driven continuous improvement initiatives such as cost and producibility design changes.
Develop production structural analysis methodology and process improvements to streamline post-development support efforts such allowable damage, acceptance criteria, and structural repair manuals.
Work closely with related engineering disciplines (development structural analysis, manufacturing, design, test, quality) and technicians to help diagnose discrepancies, provide engineering dispositions, and identify corrective actions.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of a B.S. degree in mechanical, aerospace, or related engineering discipline
2+ years of structural analysis of pressurized components or similar high-performance hardware such as those used in launch vehicles, aircraft, gas turbine, or by the nuclear industry.
Experience performing static and fatigue analysis utilizing both classical and/or FEM methodology.
Ability to communicate technical information effectively.
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience providing structural analysis in support of production, test, or fleet service to include repair/refurbishment.
Experience performing fracture/damage tolerance analysis with NASGRO.
Experience performing rocket engine structure analysis.
Experience working with ANSYS Mechanical/Workbench.
