Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Partnership Management:
    Identify, build and manage relationships with top executives of content developers and ecosystem partners.

  • Drive local ecosystem development:
    Summarize and evaluate business priorities for and needs of developer partners. Think strategically and creatively to build holistic business proposals that engage developers to integrate their application into the Huawei device ecosystem and platform of Huawei Mobile Services.

  • Deliver results and profit growth through influence and action.
    Manage the end to end sales cycle. Pitch client-led solutions and build realistic and actionable commercial proposals in order to grow revenue and profit margins. Act on ideas. Effectively sell these ideas to the leadership team. Work with internal local and global executive management, business development, and technical teams to turn ideas into action and results.

  • Nurture partner relationships
    :Identify improvement opportunities for our current ecosystem partner relationships and build solution-based proposals to retain close partnerships.

  • Become a Market Expert. Lead development of next generation experiences.:
    In your correspondent area of expertise, work closely with the ecosystem partners and Business Operations Managers and Cloud Platform Product Teams to identify cutting-edge experiences that could take the value of our services to the next level. Anticipate and define opportunities for content and service providers to build breakthrough 5G application experiences for their consumers using Huawei’s ecosystem, HMS Tools, and device agnostic OS.

  • Project management, coordination and negotiation:
    Act as the primary point-of-contact for day-to-day partner relationship and business operations. Lead negotiation of contracts to a successful close and execute partnership plans. Communicate the progress of ecosystem development projects internally and externally; develop performance metrics and milestones that enable internal and external parties to assess progress and achieve targets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5+ years top-tier ecosystem business development experience providing direction and guidance to a team of business development professionals for cloud solutions with focus on Consumer Applications and Services, Mobile Software Content / Developer Platforms / Ad Tech Platforms, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), or Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS).

  • Proven experience:

    • interfacing with and being a trusted partner for C-level executives

    • evaluating, incubating, and launching new business development opportunities

    • managing and growing relationships with cross-functional teams, internally and externally

    • planning and managing at strategic and operational levels to launch new products or services in the marketplace.

  • Concrete understanding of the global competitive landscape of Smartphones, Mobile Services, Applications, Games and Operating Systems.

  • Ability to grasp both the big picture related to technology and software solutions, and the details of how the technology and solutions work together or are dependent on one another to create a positive user experience.

  • Sound business judgement, thought leadership, creative problem solving, and influence to overcome obstacles to success.

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

  • Comfortable operating in a rapidly changing industry.

  • Fluent spoken and written business English is a must.
