Hansell Tierney is assisting our client, a world-class hospital based in Seattle, WA, with a search for a

Senior Project Manager experienced in the Infrastructure/Facilities/Clinical space.

Location - Seattle, WA.
- Candidates must be willing to go to onsite to North Seattle office as needed)
- COVID-19 vaccination is required

Duration - Begins as 6 month contract, likely potential to extend 12+ months

JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for ensuring project goals and objectives are met within the agreed upon time, scope and budget. This resource will oversee the planning, scheduling, budget and coordination of all IT-related work for the projects.

Responsibilities include:
  • Create and manage an overall project schedule, develop detailed task plans, resource alignment, reporting on critical milestones, and manage issues and risks
  • Communicate project status and progress with key stakeholders
  • Develop, baseline, manage and report on project budget
  • Keep high-level project information updated in the Portfolio Weekly Health Check report.
  • Responsible for defining IT infrastructure requirements, procurement, tracking and delivery of products and services associated with all IT components of the project
  • Organizes infrastructure work plans, following company IT processes
  • Oversight of implementation work and ensuring team members are charging time and materials appropriately.
  • Work with business stakeholders and application owners to ensure that business objectives are met through IT project implementations
  • Coordinate with Portfolio Management Group team to ensure compliance with company project management reporting tools, templates, and key processes
  • Obtain a thorough understanding of the environment, infrastructure platforms, and services in order to determine methodology to execute the projects.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, resource managers, end users and project team members throughout project phases of analysis, design, build, testing and implementation.
  • When feasible, apply business process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, etc.) to further increase customer satisfaction and the success of the project.
  • Identify areas where process change can improve or reduce IT work (checklists, template standardization, etc.).
  • Prepare written documentation that can be easily consumed by various stakeholders (i.e. client, vendors, agencies, sub-contractors, etc.).

Required Skills/Experience:
  • Minimum 5-7 years of project management experience supporting infrastructure, IT projects, office/corporate moves of people and equipment
  • Experience working with Facilities and/or Construction
  • Experience working with and reading floor plans
  • Preferred: PMP Certification

The Opportunity with McKinstry We are currently seeking an Enterprise Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of key initiative that cross departments, with special focus on the alignment amongst Corporate Service Units. Each initiative will be different but may include team formation, defining requirements, validating designs, integrating systems, testing solutions, planning cutover and preparing end-users and managers including new/updated process and policy documentation. This can be a remote role. To achieve this, this role will need to: Provide strong program and project leadership to McKinstry teams. Develop strong, collaborative relationships with leaders, peers, project teams, both internal and external stakeholders as well as employees. Demonstrate political acumen when navigating potentially disruptive efforts across McKinstry. Have a strong understanding and practice of change management and the organizations capacity to change in a dynamic environment. Drive critical decision making in an efficient and inclusive manner. Understand and be able to represent the unique needs within McKinstry. Ensure that McKinstry\'s multiple, inter-related systems and business processes are successfully considered with an eye for enterprise benefit, addressing unique needs where justified. Support and advocate for consolidated, upgraded and standardized processes in order to provide reliable, integrated, consistent and efficient corporate service support Drive the work McKinstry teams need to accomplish even in the midst of ambiguity and/or competing priorities There are a number of key initiatives underway across McKinstry. As such, the project manager will need to work effectively to get up to speed quickly while keeping the project moving forward according to the agreed upon project timelines. Additional responsibilities include: Relationship Management : Maintain strong relationships with leaders, peers, project teams, both internal and external stakeholders as well as employees. Keep teams well informed of project status, risks and issues; support leaders in their interactions with other impacted parties. Team Leadership : Support, develop and train the McKinstry project team members; ensure team member have access to the resources and information necessary to do their jobs; ensure strong collaboration between the project team and their colleagues in other areas of the business Project Plan Management : Manage the project plan and ensure it is well integrated with the overall CSET program plan; develop plans for addressing any work items that are running behind schedule.
