The Global Specialty Fulfillment (GSF) team is seeking a System Development Engineer for a platform hosting web tools and dashboards to support a large operations network. This platform will expand worldwide and across businesses in the near future, and your ideas and solutions can have a huge impact. Our platform uses Unix, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, MySQL and Redshift.JOB SUMMARYYou will join a growing team as a System Development Engineer alongside other system development engineers, business analysts, business intelligence engineers and research scientists. Your customers will include field operators and management. You will be part of the core technical force developing smarter and more automated processes that improve operational efficiency and business scalability. Your responsibilities may include:- Develop web-based tools to automate operations processes.- Provide visualization solutions to data and metrics.- Design and implement scalable analytics platform for daily operations deep dives.Basic Qualifications BS degree in analytical field and 3+ years of industry experience in an analytical role or an MS degree with 1 year's experience or 2 years' related Amazon experience.
