We offer competitive night and weekend shift differential pay!As an ER Veterinary Technician, you will:Provide nursing care to stable patients according to hospital standards of care and core values.

Report patient signalment, problem list and plan during nursing rounds.

Calculate basic medical math.

Administer medications via appropriate routes and duration.

Perform phlebotomy.

Have the ability to reliably place intravenous catheters.

Perform physical exam; accurately counts heart, pulse rate, CRT, mucous membranes, temp, respiratory rate and effort.

Have working knowledge of anesthesia/monitoring equipment.

Qualifications:Current certification/license in veterinary technology.

Experience working in a veterinary practice (emergency experience a plus)
