Job Details

Responsible for managing a broad portfolio of financial applications, integrations, and reports delivered primarily through the Workday cloud ERP platform.
Must have strong financials experience in one or more ERP implementations and experience with at least one (1) Workday Finance implementation with solid skills in the Workday toolset while maintaining a rigorous commitment to quality, security and attention to detail.

Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of business analysis, technical business analysis &/or technical financials reporting.
  • Strongly prefer a Financial or ERP / Workday Financials background.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited college/university.
  • Strong consideration will be given for candidates with a background in computer science, finance, or accounting.

Qualifications:
  • Experience implementing and/or supporting Workday Finance and one or more associated modules -grants, projects, payroll, or timekeeping.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in Data Quality and Data Transformation
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent documentation skills (samples of nonproprietary documentation maybe be asked for review)
  • Collaborative team player

  • Willingness to learn new functions and technologies
  • Expertise in the following Workday technologies:

o Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
o Report Writer

Responsibilities
  • Gather business requirements from our Business Community & management -and convert the business requirements to technical specifications to include reports creation/analysis for enhanced business analysis
  • Manage and build reports and conduct data analysis
  • Conduct root cause analysis to determine an appropriate action plan for break/fix issues
  • Configure and support Workday Finance and/or one or more of Grants, Projects, Timekeeping or Payroll modules
  • Maintain data integrity through all data transformations and transmissions
  • Participate and support prototypes and demonstrations of new functionality
  • Support the bi-annual upgrades processes
  • Act as primary named support contact with Workday -managing communications with Workday Support
  • Collaborate and contribute to the Workday community user groups

This role is part of the Blue Origin Engines business unit, where our focus is the design, development, manufacturing and testing of engines and propulsion systems. Built for multiple uses, our family of engines is powering the next generation of rockets for commercial, civil, national security and human spaceflight. As part of a hardworking team of diverse engineers, you will provide structural analysis in support of production engine programs at Blue Origin to support future launch cadence by New Glenn and other launch vehicles delivering both commercial and government payloads. You will support engineering nonconformances and anomalies during engine production, test, and fleet service to include repair/refurbishment as well as production and process driven continuous improvement initiatives. To be successful in this role, you will need to understand how to apply structural analysis principles in a post-development environment to include production, test, and fleet service. You will need to understand how these functions interact within the post-development lifecycle as well as the relationship to upstream product development efforts. You will demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement by applying your structural analysis expertise to identify and implement production driven improvement opportunities such producibility design changes and process driven improvements including analysis workflow, methodologies, acceptance criteria, and structural repair manuals. Basic understanding of liquid rocket engine systems, manufacturing, and production are important. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of a B.S. degree in mechanical, aerospace, or related engineering discipline 2+ years of structural analysis of pressurized components or similar high-performance hardware such as those used in launch vehicles, aircraft, gas turbine, or by the nuclear industry. Experience performing static and fatigue analysis utilizing both classical and/or FEM methodology. Ability to communicate technical information effectively.
