Lowell's in Pike Market is hiring for the Front of House: Food Runner!!

We are a tight-knit FAMILY team of dedicated, hard-working individuals and we are looking to complete our line-up.

Presently we are looking for a full time food runner. The position requires heavy lifting, long periods of standing/walking, and a good attention to detail as well as being of a sunny disposition! Everything else can be trained! The position will be full time and on a set weekly schedule, however during the probationary period of 30 days there will most likely be more of a varied schedule.

Lowell's is a unique place to work and an incredible community to be a part of. Many of our staff have been here longer than a decade because they love being a part of Seattle's historic Pike Place Market. They love coming to work and knowing that all the many people we see are either regulars and locals taking advantage of what there is on offer, or are in town on vacation and blown away by our great atmosphere, service, food, and of course unbeatable view of Elliot Bay and Puget Sound, with the Olympic Mountains on the horizon.

From the ground up, we live and breathe the very essence of the market: fresh filleted seasonal fish walked over from 2 doors down every morning; local daily baked bread; unique and award winning dishes -- these are the things that make working at Lowell's like no other. Every day our talented bartenders are inventing or re-developing old classics, infusing and juicing whatever is fresh in the market.

We are one of the few places left where someone can come in to an entry level position in a restaurant in Seattle, and then afford to live and enjoy their lives in the very same city. We also provide optional 75% coverage for health insurance, 401(k), and vacation pay for full time employees, and then potential for cross-training, pay-raises, and promotions, and provide shift meals for everybody. A full time entry-level employee can expect to earn $35-40K+ for a full 12 months, as a starting point. And on top of that, there are the many intangible perks that come with the territory, not least of which being that we open at 7am and close seasonally with the sunlight, leaving employees able to maintain a "restaurant-relatively" (!) normal social life. With our 3 floors and 150 seats, we can even substitute for a gym membership!
