Now hiring full-time and part-timeÂCOOKS! Our senior living community, NARROWS GLEN located in TACOMA, WA is a great setting if you enjoy working with seniors. Full time and part-time positions available immediately!Sign-on Bonus: $150 at time of hire,
an additional $150 after 6 months of employment!You will prepare meals for residents according to the Community's specifications. Crisp linen tablecloths, fine china and top-quality fresh ingredients; this is made-to-order dining at its finest. Seasonal and regional menus are ever-evolving, offering signature dishes and daily specials. And NO LATE NIGHTS means you will have more quality time to maintain a balanced life.
The Cook Essential Duties:
Full time and part-time positions report to the Executive Chef.Prepare meals for residents providing high quality dining service that takes into account resident preferences and special dietary requirements in compliance with applicable food and sanitation regulations.
Assist in the production of all menu items.
Demonstrate safe food handling procedures, with special emphasis on critical control.
Maintain consistently high cleanliness of work and storage areas.
Qualifications:
One year of related cooking experience.Cook experience in hospitality,
country club or senior living industry preferred.
High school diploma or GED general education development preferred.
Must be able to speak, read, and write English.All of our job offers are contingent upon the successful passing of a background check with fingerprinting, a drug test and a physicalÂ
