Currently hiring for a Head Chef at our new endeavor, The Huntsman Tavern, in Ellensburg, Washington. A whiskey library and full-service restaurant, we boast a beautiful interior ready for a fine-dining experience. A planned menu consisting of wood-fired rotisserie chicken and steak, fried chicken, entree salads, and prime burgers, the chef must be knowledgable of grilling and executing a high caliber of food. We are actively looking for a Chef who is a strong candidate with the experience of running the line.
Our candidate will be highly energetic who thrives in a fast-paced environment. They are team-oriented, understanding how to run an efficient kitchen. Knowledge of food handling practices, inventory and waste reduction is a must.
Our candidate will start ASAP working together to develop menu items from established menus. Until our grand-opening, flexibility in your schedule is available. You must be a self-starter, responsible, and honest.

Ellensburg is a beautiful, growing, college town (Central Washington University), about 1.5 hours from the Seattle/Bellevue area in Central Washington just east of the Cascade Mountain Range. If you are an outdoor enthusiast, we have hiking, fly-fishing, hunting, rivers (Columbia & Yakima), less than an hour from three ski hills, and the cost of living is still much lower than the city! We are also hiring support staff for FOH & BOH, including prep cooks, salad artist, & expediter. And currently looking for knowledgeable whiskey librarian and mixologist.
