A client of our is a full-service Tasting Room and Events venue located in Woodinville, WA. The winery creates award-winning wines, produces world-class corporate and private events, including weddings, and hosts over 40,000 Tasting Room guests per year.

Summary:

We are in search of a talented and motivated Line Cook to assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in managing kitchen operations, executing private and Wine Club events, and advancing our food program. The right person is flexible, eager to learn and has a “Can do attitude” and willing to assist where ever needed. A deep passion for customer service, and a desire to execute to the highest standards. This candidate is comfortable working with multiple departments and thrives in an ever-changing environment.

Duties:

Support Executive Chef & Sous Chef in all aspects of culinary execution

Follow Executive or Sous Chef’s instructions

Ensure stations are set up and stocked to chef’s specifications

Ensure food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion

Garnish and finish plates to Executive or Sous Chef’s specifications

Clean up station and manage leftover food appropriately

Follow all procedures regarding food safety and health code regulations

Follow regular and thorough cleaning procedures for all kitchen areas, walk-in cooler/freezer and equipment

Exercise safe equipment operation and regular maintenance

Ensure compliance with all recycling rules and standards

Report any maintenance issues as soon as they occur

Comply with all nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

Performing other duties as directed

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 to 2 years related experience

Ability to lift 55 pounds and work on feet for long periods of time

Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and evening events

Must be a motivating team player who can work efficiently in high volume situations

Maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers and customers

Must hold a valid food handlers certification card and have HACCP knowledge

Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work

Ability to work 50+ hours per week, in accordance with business needs
