Qualifications:
- Active CNA(NAC)/HCA
- Able to communicate in English (speaking, reading and writing)
- Current TB (2 step Tests), CPR/First Aid, HIV/AIDS, Food Handling Certificates
- Dementia, Mental Health and Nurse Delegation/Diabetes Certificates Current
- Must be flexible (able to work weekends)
- Must be self-driven and reliable
- Must be team player
- Must be able to multitask
- Must be patient
- Must have clear background and pass fingerprints checks
- Experience is a plus
Typical Duties:
- 12 Hour day shifts
- ADLs for 3 to 6 residents
- Housekeeping
- Food preparation and serving; cooking/baking is a plus
- Resident activities
- Meds handling
- Phone calls
