Fellow hygienists,
I've been the full time RDH in an amazing office for the last year! I enjoy working for this family feeling office. It is a fun, happy, friendly, and TEAM EFFORT kind of dental practice where everyone is there to help everyone else and where work environment that feels comfortable. I especially appreciate this about my office after having worked in several other offices in my career.
Here, everyone makes sure that every employee’s voice is heard because, without communication, there is no community. We are a tight-knit bunch and I especially would love to see some new faces around here so that our community can grow. It truly will make you feel welcome. The workspace is very professional and goal-orientated as well as caring. So that means we are focused but still know how to have fun. This attitude applies towards our patients and peers. If it weren’t for this, I wouldn’t be here recommending the job at all.
Our jobs are essential during this time and precautions are taken very seriously in our space. I personally don’t want anyone to be worrying more than they should be. It is important that everyone is safe and healthy. I truly believe that this office abides by that mindset. Another important factor is how we interact with our patients. The way we do so is friendly and educating at the same time! What that means is that our goal here is making sure our patients get the care they need with no fuss or hassle. The job isn’t meant to stress you out it’s meant to help you and others and your input will always be accounted for. We are open from Monday to Thursday (8-5pm) and looking for a hygienist who can work 3 or 4 days!
Our hygienists always have assistance when perio charting so you are never having to do this alone. You will have 1 hr per perio quad for scaling and adequate time to spend w/ the patient. Our dentist always works together w/ the hygienist in determining the patients perio needs and will refer the patient to the periodontist if hygienist recommends this.
