Veterinary Roots is currently seeking a full-time inventory manager to join our growing team!

The ideal candidate will be a professional looking for long-term employment with a group of independently-owned, established veterinary practices in the greater Seattle region (Rainier Veterinary Hospital, Beach Veterinary Hospital and Bothell Pet Hospital). This position will be responsible for managing all supplies, drugs and facility needs for three veterinary hospitals. Working off a weekly budget based on current hospital revenues, the inventory manager will work to keep product and inventories at a level that is acceptable to the medical teams with an emphasis on ensuring critical supplies are never running low. The Inventory Manager will also work with each practice manager to ensure weekly shipments are properly received and updated in the hospital management system and they will perform pricing analysis to ensure that quarterly price changes are implemented company-wide.

Qualifications

The well-qualified candidates will have:

 Detailed knowledge of Impromed, “Infinity” hospital management software.

 In-depth knowledge of pricing, inventory modules

 Customer service background is desired

 Two (2) years of experience managing inventory

 More than two (2) years supervisory experience is preferred

 Able to multi-task and work independently

 Proven leadership skills

 Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 In-depth understanding of distribution workplaces

 Inventory training an asset

 Have a strong attention for detail

 Able to communicate well with others and resolve issues in an amicable manner

 May have to bend, twist and lift boxes (not to exceed 20 pound).
