This is a live-in position to provide 24/7/365 adult care services. The caregivers hired for this position MUST be able to work six (6) days/week. There will always be two (2) caregivers working at all times.
We are currently looking for live-in caregivers with experience to work in an Adult Family Home with six (6) residents. Live-in caregivers get their own place to sleep.
Requirements:
Must be able to provide compassionate and loving assistance to six (6) residents
Must be able to assist clients with basic living skills and maintaining a clean and safe home environment inside and outside of the AFH
Must have strong home management/cooking skills
Must have current Washington State Driver's License and good driving record
Must be able to understand and follow prescribed diets/medications
- Preparing Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner/Snacks
- Assisting residents with bathroom visits and incontinence
- Properly dealing with residents with DD/Mental Health/Dementia/Alzheimer's
- Proper techniques for lifting and transferring
- Administering medicine
- Other care-giving duties: repository, range of motion exercise, etc
- Other house/chores duties as assigned
Wages:
$2,200 to $4,000/month depending on experience and certification credentials plus room and board

-Dementia, DD and Mental Health
-Diabetes
-Development Disability

-First Aid/CPR
-Food handlers Permit
-2-step TB test
-The ability to pass a Federal Background Check and finger prints without criminal offenses
-Three references
