Make a difference in the lives of adolescents with developmental disabilities in a home-like setting as a Childrens Direct Support Professional (CDSP). The CDSP will assist the children with activities ranging from personal grooming and meal preparation to shopping, housekeeping and recreational outings. Children have their own bedrooms and share common living areas including office space with access to a computer, puzzles and art supplies for the children to enjoy.
This residential facility also follows a school schedule, during the school year, where children are away during the day attending classes. After school the children return home for one on one support services with staff. Finally, there is a full calendar of daily, weekly and quarterly activities and outings planned by staff for the children and their familys participation and community inclusion. We have homes in Everett and Snohomish.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Person must be at least 21 years of age
Have at least 1 years experience working with children
Reliable transportation to job site, WA State driver's license to drive company vehicle and 3 years driving abstract
Good writing skills and attention to detail
Caring, patient, reliable and good communication
Full time, part time and weekend positions available.
Compensation:
$14 per hour
Full time benefits include: Medical, dental, paid sick, holidays, vacation with 401 (k) (currently matching 50%).
